TNT Amusements

Postby TeamMountainGaming » Sat Apr 02, 2011 8:06 am

Near where I'm from (Philadelphia area) there is this arcade/pinball dealer TNT Amusements. If anyone is from the area you might remember their totally random hilarious infomercial played only at like 3am- it is kind of an infamous thing with the company and people who know of them.

Anyway they have a youtube channel and actually have a really interesting show called "Understanding Pinball" - I really enjoy it- they have been dealing/fixing/refurbishing games for like 30 years and the owner and host of the youtube shows is really knowledable (and a total goof when you watch the infomercial! and i mean that with the highest respect :D )

I'm not affiliated with them in any way (i wish i was!) - just think its a great show!

TNT Amusements ripped me off big time when I lived in NY. They had a Juno First upright and a Black Knight pinball that were not working and they were selling for cheap. I asked them to save them for my and I would rent a van and come and pick them up for the price they were asking. They stated that they would hold them for me so I took the day off work and took the long hike over there. I get there ask them about the machines and the jerks told me that someone made a better offer and they sold them. It takes a lot to tick me off but that did it. I wasted $200 bucks just getting there. They have a lot of great stuff but doing something shady like that really ticked me off.

Yeah, I'm also a TNT customer. Years ago when I first got interested in Pinball machines I had no idea where to buy them. I found TNT on a google search and Todd Tuckey's commercial was so off the wall ended up buying two pins from him and had them delivered to my home.

I really have no complaints and I've run into Todd personally over the years.

Todd is one of the... shall we says, most interesting men in the Arcade and Pinball restoration and resale Business.
Watch this video and you'll see what I mean.
